Have We Made A Difference?

Making a difference requires little more than a heart that is willing to serve.

That willingness was the seed that planted PawPaw’s Homeless ministry that summer night back in June of 2019.

At the end of Vacation Bible School that year, there was quite a bit of food left over. However, that night PawPaw Mike decided he did not want to let the food go to waste. So he quietly packed it up and headed to 11th Street to hand it out to those who could really use it. He did so with no fanfare or announcements. The only ones who knew were God, himself, and those he served.

….and so began Pawpaw’s Homeless Ministry.

Those humble beginnings have grown to over 60,000 meals served since then.

What we do

We seek to make a difference by loving the unhoused one meal at a time.

Since our humble beginnings at that VBS in June of 2019, we have been blessed to serve tens of thousands of meals to those in need.

From the volunteers to the meals served, people are the heart of Pawpaw’s Homeless Ministry. The numbers reflect mere quantity, but the quality is found in every story that is behind each number
